A tender door opens the hull at the waterline so the tender can be lifted straight in and out. Closed, it sits flush in the hull; open, it forms a sheltered dock with the boat hanging from the davit inside. The door leaf carries its own weight and the sea loads – structure and hinges are engineered to withstand the harshest marine conditions.
OMS delivers door, frame, cylinders, piping and controls as one unit – a one-stop solution for the complete system, measured in 3-D before it leaves Stralsund. The yard gets a module that fits the hull opening and is ready to weld in.
